About Us

It all started with our horse Milly. We adopted Milly in 2019 from a rescue in Bakersfield, CA. Since then we have adopted two more rescues from them named Bud and Biscuit. Adopting from this rescue really opened our family's eyes with how bad the horse and donkey industry can be. These three amazing animals we have brought into our lives did not deserve to end up at a kill pen and bound for slaughter. We decided we need to join the fight and step up and be a voice for these animals. Our focus is to rescue these animals from slaughter/abuse/neglect then rehabilitate and find them the loving homes they DESERVE.
